With members hailing from Seattle, WA, New Orleans, LA, and Aberdeen, Scotland, the band came together after Klett and McDermott met while on tour. In November of 2009, McDermott headed to Seattle to Klett’s studio and started recording their new material. After recording the first couple of songs with just acoustic guitar and vocals, the two of them realized they had something special. The next logical step was to complete the lineup with musicians that shared the same drive and passion for the new music.
The bands debut album was produced by Klett in his Seattle studio and mixed by Kelly Gray (Candlebox, Queensryche, Brother Cane).
